The origins of La Casa della Pasta are humble, but thanks to their tireless efforts of these two brave persons this restaurant has become the best place in Jávea to taste Italian specialties. Kirsten and Fabio had it clear from the start: their main goal was to “teach” the guests to eat the authentic Italian food. They remained firm in their philosophy of not offering the classic pizzas or Spanish wines. Their ideas were a resounding success and today the staff of La Casa della Pasta restaurant is a great family that welcomes its customers in a friendly and warm atmosphere.
Italian specialities with a lot of flavour
Among their many proposals, the last few months they have invited us to participate in a Giro d’Italia, travelling each month to a region of this beautiful country and offering their traditional dishes. Now they have just celebrated their 20th anniversary and continue with the same energy as always to make the best effort and serve great dishes to their guests.
Among their outstanding specialities you will find the typical Italian antipasto, a table of Italian cold cuts and Parmesan cheese, or their delicious steamed mussels with soft spicy tomato sauce, capers and black olives. If you prefer to choose pasta, the chef offers you homemade ravioli filled with burrata cheese and truffle or an exquisite dish of homemade ravioli filled with boletus édulis mushroom and ricotta cheese prepared with butter, sage, garlic and Parmesan cheese. Do you fancy fish? Then you have to taste their sole prepared with butter, lemon and parsley served with tagliatelle with butter and sage or vegetables. So yummy! In addition, the chef proposes two meat dishes: a tender beef entrecote on the grill with truffle-butter or the fillet steak on the grill with herbal butter or Gorgonzola cheese sauce, both of them served with tagliatelle with butter and sage or vegetables.
