On February 16, the new stage season of the Auditori Teulada Moraira began with the performance of the opera Madama Butterfly. Until June can be contemplated various performances that form a complete cultural program composed of different proffesional associations of this sector.
During this season, the Comunitat Valenciana Foundation Auditori Teulada Moraira has decided to mix traditional shows with others that are more different and disruptive, but always at a high level. The goal is to give the program a fresher air with a modern and daring design. The first stage play represented was Madama Butterfly, the new production of opera company Opera 2001. The impressive play of the composer Giacomo Puccini was starred by a dazzling cast of actors and soloists, such as Japanese soprano Hiroko Morita and tenor David Baños, as well as orchestras and the Hirosaki Choirs, coming from Japan.
To continue with the extraordinary programming, on February 24 there will be a concert by the ADDA Simfònica Orchestra conducted by the director Josep Vicent and formed by more than 45 musicians. The show continues on March 2 with the international premiere of Vents de Broadway, by the group Púrpura Pansa, while on March 20 Crit dels Àngels will be offered, a musical show focused on drug addiction and youth prevention. The weekend of the 22nd to the 24th of March will be held l’Encontre d’Orquestres, and on March 29 and 30 will host the XI Vila de Teulada Festival of dolçaina i percussió. Also in March there will be a concert included in the acts prepared to commemorate the Working Women’s Day by the Banda Simfònica de Dones of the FSMCV.
