After a well-deserved rest the restaurant Puerto Blanco reopened its doors on Saturday March 16, offering special menus to celebrate the occasion. If you missed that successful event or if you just want to pamper yourself, during Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 you will be able to taste two exclusive lunch menus. The first menu starts with bread from the oven and a special snack. As an entree you can choose between exquisite some goat cheese croquettes with medlar chutney or salmon tartare marinated with avocado and mustard. Then you can clear your palate with a mushroom cream soup or the sorbet of the day. The main course consists of a tender pork sirloin piccata with pepper sauce and truffle potato croquettes or orange sole rolls with carrots purée. Hard decision! But what about dessert? To finish this fantastic menu the chef has prepared a special home-made dessert that will put the finishing touch to this culinary experience.

The second menu also opens with bread from the oven and a special snack, followed by a salad of vegetables from the garden with warm tomino cheese and medina vinaigrette or beef carpaccio with parmesan, arugula, lemon pearls, creamy foie-gras and truffe mayonnaise. So delicious! Before the main course will be served a dish of pumpkin cream with orange and ginger or the sorbet of the day. After that you can choose between an extraordinary dish of sole “Meuniere” with almond, creamy celery and lemon or loin of veal flambéed with mushroom sauce. It makes my mouth water! To finish this incredible lunch you can also try the special home-made dessert that chef Patrick Manguette made for the occasion.
