The unique Michelin star restaurant in Ondara namely CASA PEPA has thrived since its opening and today we update you on their new menu dishes to enjoy.

Today we would like to update you on the rural restaurant Casa Pepa which, as you maybe aware, already had a Michelin star and a Repsol Sun due to the high-quality cuisine and now we have found out that they have won a  second Repsol Sun award becoming only the third restaurant in the Valencian Community to achieve this special award. And this recognition is not surprising, as Casa Pepa since its new opening has set a standard that others have to follow.

Two years ago, Casa Pepa became part of the BonAmb family, the successful restaurant in Javea, and for those of you who are not aware of this, we would like to show you in this article, the new gastronomic creations that have now been created at this unique restaurant.

Casa Pepa was originally founded in 1986 by chef Pepa Romans, and the pillars that support its menu are the high standards of Mediterranean cuisine plus the fact everything has the taste of traditional market products, creating the freshness of the essential seasonal products. All of this is combined in each exquisite dish by the young chef Aina Serra Pedros.

Chef Aina is passionate about gastronomy and since she joined Casa Pepa she has always been innovating and searching for perfection in every dish until everyone is pleased.

And although Aina and her team are always looking to the future and pushing boundaries with their food, her favourite dish is quite a classic in Spanish cuisine ¨los arroces¨ or the rice.

These dishes hold a special place at Casa Pepa, because they preserve the legacy of Pepa Romans, the founding chef of Casa Pepa. It is Aina’s privilege to honor the traditions of the wonderful and inspiring women who started it all.

Therefore we encourage you to let yourself be surprised by this extraordinary restaurant and the culinary creations such as those shown below.

Duck with red wine reduction and shallot mole with duck sausage

Roasted pepper in a wood oven, lacquered with its juice, marinated little tunny, juice of its spine and garlic and pepper praline.

Boneless rabbit shoulder with a sauce of land snail, pickled onion, and homemade ketchup.
