The famous Bodegas Xaló that are the origin of the most exquisite wines of the Valencian Community have now begun their harvest period. Over the past month in August they started their harvest with their famous Moscatel grape and on September 2nd they commenced with the Giró grape.
This year they believe there are fewer kilos but the quality of the grapes is excellent possibly being even better than in previous years, according to Bodegas Xaló.
It is a hard but admirable work that all the staff of Bodegas Xaló and the farmers of the area do every year to produce the fantastic wines we have become accustomed to.
After fermentation they will proceed to bottle the new wines and mistelas and will continue to produce all their wines such as their traditional mistelas and vermouth, their Moscatell, their Malvarrosa plus their star product Bahia de Denia of which they will make another limited edition of 1800 – 2000 bottles this year.
BODEGAS XALÓ is set in the middle of the Jalon valley and is always innovating and incorporating new products to adapt to new market trends so there is no better place to acquire the best in wines here in the Costa Blanca.
So contact them today and pay a visit to the excellent bodega set in Jalon if you are a lover of excellent wines.
