Come and bask in the eclectic decoration, chic vibe, and lounge music playing in the background, not to mention the dazzling menu at COA Marbella.
COA Marbella, Avenida Las Malvas, Nueva Andalucía, Marbella.
Under the watchful eye of the experienced Valladolid chef David Aguado, Coa Restaurant is a space that boasts designer gastronomy that has opened its doors in Marbella to the utter of the most demanding palates.
The best way to sum up COA would be its relaxed elegance, top-quality ingredients, and a team that lives up to its promise. As local entrepreneur Michael Keijzer’s latest endeavor, the team invites you to discover the restaurant that aspires to become an emblem of the Costa del Sol.
The atmosphere at COA is warm and welcoming, with two lounge areas spread out on two floors which are exquisitely subdued to set the mood.
With quality and customer service as its flagship, Coa Marbella’s gastronomic proposal is infallible. The secret lies in preparing its recipes based on the best raw materials and having the best-trained professionals on its team. The cuisine is based on traditional Mediterranean cuisine, with a modern and chic twist and features succulent steaks, cooked to your liking, fresh seafood, and light and tasty salads.
Its menu offers a wide variety of proposals and includes dishes to suit all tastes. Among the starters, you can’t miss are steak croquettes, clams, scallops, picaña carpaccio or imperial caviar. All this in addition to the grilled octopus, the almadraba tuna tataki or the oxtail cannelloni with foie gras, mushrooms, and cheese foam, among the main courses.
In addition, there are warm and comforting soups such as chickpeas stewed with prawns, clams and crayfish, or lobster cream; and for those who prefer an Italian touch at the table, buffalo burrata and boletus pizza or tagliatelle vongole. Not forgetting, of course, the grilled meats, with a wide selection of prime veal.
We also recommend trying COA’s marvelous tasting menu, which can be enjoyed in two versions, one shorter and one longer. Those who opt for this experience will begin their gastronomic journey with a welcome drink and an aperitif of beef tartare with salicornia, pickles and crispy seaweed.
This is followed by a taste of olive oil with hints of grass and tomato. Afterwards, cecina de cebón with toasted almonds and arbequina oil and low-temperature artichokes with slivers of payoyo cheese and slices of acorn-fed ham as starters.
Next is steamed cod with rosemary, razor clams and avocado gazpachuelo, and simmental veal loin as main courses. And to finish with the COA Marbella tasting menu, paired with cava, rosé wine, tempranillo, Ribera del Duero and muscatel from Ordoñez Distribuciones.
