What to do in Jávea? More and more tourists are coming to spend their holidays or just to visit one of the most charming towns in Costa Blanca, to dine, shop, and bask in its relaxing atmosphere.
Found in the province of Alicante, Jávea is a coastal town located between the towns of Denia and Moraira.
It’s undoubtedly one of the most charming and magical towns on the Costa Blanca, an enigmatic place that always leaves everyone who visits it wanting more. Which, in turn, always makes us come back, again and again, every year, because it is always great to return to the places where we were happy.
Its light, its coves of turquoise and crystal clear water, its landscapes of steep cliffs, its atmosphere, its gastronomy and that magic of eternal summer that it exudes, make it the perfect place for your summer getaway.
In addition, more and more people are opting for a campsite in Alicante, close to a natural environment and the best beaches on the peninsula. Jávea is one of the favourite places to spend a few relaxing days, as it is one of the most spectacular towns in Costa Blanca, with the permission of Denia, Moraira and Calpe.
What are the reasons why you should visit Jávea? Here we show you all of them.
Soak Up its Beaches and Coves.
Jávea, with its 25km of coastline as well as a fine sandy beach, has beautiful small coves, open gravel beaches and huge cliffs.
One of its most famous coves is the Cala de la Granadella, a paradisiacal cove with crystal clear waters where the film “The cold light of day” was filmed with the actor Bruce Willis, who was captivated by the cove and its cliffs.
Cala del Moraig
Plus, Jávea has plenty of activities to do in the sea ranging from diving, scuba diving, jet-skiing or kayak excursions.
Stroll Through its Beautiful Town
The town of Jávea is small and has a beautiful old town. Strolling through its narrow streets lined with shops, bars and restaurants is a real treat.
You can’t miss a tour of the historic centre of Jávea. Among the most outstanding monuments are the defensive walls, the most representative monuments such as the Church of San Bartolomé, the town hall and of course the historical market and its historical and ethnological museum.
In addition, there is a great atmosphere and a wide variety of restaurants, bars, pubs and nightclubs. We recommend a stroll through the Plaza de la Iglesia and its surrounding streets, where you will find beautiful corners like this one.
