The Quooker consists of a boiling water tap on top of the countertop and a small tank underneath it that acts as a thermos connected to the water supply network. The air in the insulated wall is so fine that heat can’t escape.
This tank stores water at 110°C and the interesting thing is that it needs very little energy (10 watts) to keep the water in the tank at boiling point. When pouring boiling water from the tap, fresh water immediately passes to the tank under the countertop, so it’s enough to refill the tank and reheat what was used. Another interesting point is that there are different tanks. The COMBI has an energy label A.

It is impossible to accidentally activate boiling water supply because it requires pressing twice and activating a ring mechanism which is separate from the conventional hot and cold water lever.
Water is injected with air producing a jet that is not solid and avoiding accidental burns. In addition, the Quooker has a double insulated pipe, so they are cold to the touch, unlike conventional water boilers. In addition, it is impossible to hit, tilt or spill a Quooker as could happen with a pot of boiling water.
