Latest Commercial Project – Bongo, Granada
In Heidi’s latest endeavour, she demonstrated her sharp skills in Bongo restaurant in Granada. This is how it looked before Heidi worked her magic:
Bongo – Before
For this project, Heidi was asked to completely transform the interior of the restaurant, following the brief to create a space that was totally unique to the area.
Upon walking into the space for the first time, Heidi knew that she wanted to maximise the double-height ceiling in order to create a heightened sense of splendour. Heidi and her team designed a floor-to-ceiling 4,5 mt high bar that extends onto the mezzanine level, integrating the two spaces making the bar feel wider and more expansive.
They used wood and metal with a corroded finish as the backdrop and then diffused lighting effects to enhance the textures.
After
As Bongo is also a place where musical performances are held, Heidi decided to implement a fusion of elegance and drama, causing the guests to feel curiosity, intrigue, and excitement. They honed in on a generally dark palette with playful pops of colour for contrast, also utilizing lighting features to play with mood and highlight the key elements.
