The tasting panel consisted of 16 tasters, including journalists from the industry, sommeliers, and technologists.
A competition that has resulted in honors for a wide range of references, including the IGP Castellón, DOP Alicante, DO Utiel-Requena, and DO Valencia.
This is the second year in a row that Bodegas Xaló has earned the Proava award, which is presented to just one product. Last year’s winner was Mistela Riu Rau, while this year’s winner is Mistela Moscatel Vall de Xaló Selecta.
Bodegas Xaló situated in the wonderful setting of the beautiful Jalon Valley is simply one of the best wineries that we here at Spain Life Exclusive have ever visited and its heritage with over 50 years of trading makes it a wonderful experience to behold.
The location, which is approximately 30 minutes from the tourist resort of Denia, combines traditional traditions with modern technology. Bodegas Xaló provides a large assortment of wines, mistelas (sweet liquors), and vermouth that is both delicious and reasonably priced.
