Blizz Art Gallery in Puerto Banus is delighted to add a new and mesmerizing artist to its already impressive exhibition.
Blizz Art Gallery in Puerto Banus is delighted to announce the addition of a new artist to its ranks, French artist Patrick Rubinstein, who specialises in kinetic artworks. Influenced by British rock and American pop, Patrick merges themes of the past and present, sculpting and refining his art with the care and precision of a goldsmith, leaving the viewer dazzled by a futuristic and avant-gardist artwork.
Work by Patrick Rubinstein
Having grown up in an artistic environment, Patrick acquired his love for cinema from his mother, and it was his father who first introduced him to kinetic art techniques. Selling his first ever piece of artwork at the age of 18, Patrick has only continued to hone his craft, constantly searching for ways to innovate until he settled into his own style and sense of artistic expression.
Kinetic art is thus a current of art in which the works have movement or appear to have movement, often interacting with “external” elements such as wind or water; some types of motors; and even light or electromagnetism. Patrick’s take on this is captivating, as he gives his artworks an animated and perpetually renewed aspect.
Isabelle Scheltjen’s New Collection
Another exciting piece of news is that resident artist Isabelle Scheltjen has also just unveiled her new collection. This time, the Belgian artist surprised art enthusiasts with her collection “The Gems”. This take on her glass art means that the pieces are smaller and portable, and can be taken directly from the gallery and placed inside the client’s home.
