COA Marbella – Bask in the Chic Ambience with Live Entertainment

Have you been to the vibrant and elegant Marbella hotspot yet? Find out what exciting events are now taking place at COA in preparation for the Easter break:

Since opening on Marbella’s notorious “Golden Mile” last October, COA Marbella has only gone from strength to strength. Opened by local entrepreneur Michael Keijzer, COA is a  vibrant and chic new Mediterranean restaurant impressing even the most selective of palettes.

COA is open for lunch, dinner and drinks with a non-stop kitchen from 1 pm 11 pm. Located just by the Casino, it’s the latest project of Michael, already famed for his huge successes in the hospitality industry with Marbella’s super club Dreamers.

Short for barbacoa, “barbeque”, COA is the new and upcoming Marbella restaurant, and why its new Mediterranean style grill and chic atmosphere will have you constantly coming back.

Standing proudly on Carrer las Malvas with its bold bronze front, COA has certainly dazzled the locals of Marbella so far, which is no easy feat. With a modern, fresh take on Mediterranean dining, Chef David Aguado has carefully crafted the menu, intended to fulfil all your dining needs.

With its bronze facade COA deriving from barbecoa, this fine dining establishment specialises in succulent grilled dishes, ranging from gourmet meat, the best produce from the sea and vegetables.

This elaborate venue is spread out over two floors, with exclusive areas available for private dining, as well as those intimate corners essential for enjoying a romantic dinner for two.

Due to Michael Keijzers previous entrepreneurial successes, we have no doubt that COA will become a distinguished dining staple within its first year of opening.

Hailing from Vallodolid, Chef David Aguado has certainly outdone himself on the menu featuring many gourmet options and specialities.

These include –

  • Carpaccio de Picanha, 60 Days Matured, with Pepper, Onion and Cilantro Sprout,
  • Toro Tuna Tartar
  • Sanlucar Langostino
  • Scallops with Parmesan Cream
  • Marinated Asparagus and Acorn-fed Ham
  • Slow-heated Artichokes with Payoyo Cheese Flakes and Cured Meat Slices
  • Grilled Avocado with Sweet Chocolate Soup
  • Tarragon Oil and a Touch of Fennel
  • Prime Nebraska Entraña, Entrecôte,
  • Fillet and Rib Eye Steaks
  • Rack of Lamb with Mushrooms, Apple and Cane Honey Juice
  • Steamed Black Cod with Avocado Gazpachuelo.

Prepared by the resident master pastry chef, all desserts are freshly homemade. COA also offers an excellent selecion of international red, white, and rosé wines, as well as cavas and champagne ranging from Hacienda Monasterio, Alion, Arzuaga, Emilio Moro, Pedrosa and Pingus on offer, as well as a Ramos Paul from Ronda.

Live Entertainment at COA

Any socialite in Marbella knows that Easter is the peak time for everyone to go out, enjoy fine dining and catch up with friends.

COA wishes for its customers to take note that there will be a change in the timetable – from May to October, the restaurant will be open from 6pm to 2am.

The restaurant recommends that you stay attentive to its Facebook and Instagram pages to stay up to date on the weekly singers and live DJs performing on Fridays.
